Experience
I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Education and minored in Psychology and Spanish from Montclair State University. After graduation, I taught preschool age children for a couple of years. After a couple of years, I transitioned from teaching preschool to middle school and elementary. I taught 4th, 5th, and 6th grade children Social Studies and Spanish for three years. Currently, I teach Spanish Levels 1 and 2 to high school students. Through my experiences, I have been able to pick up invaluable information about how to help students of varying subjects, styles of learning, ages, abilities, and levels. Right now, I am pursuing a certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). I grew up in a household that was multicultural, and because of this, I love culture and languages. My mission in life is to keep on learning all I can and to help others learn to appreciate cultural diversity, languages, and history. When I am not studying history and languages, I enjoy all things food. I especially enjoy testing out cuisines from different cultures, cooking, and baking. My hobbies I like to do include music (singing and dancing), hanging out with family, and hiking.
